It
took me about two years to find the perfect van, I found it on e-bay.
I was putting in a bid and I accidentally hit the buy it now button….oops…It
was a good mistake.
This trip to Baja California
was the first adventure for our 87 van (aka marty).
I got the van stuck in a creek
crossing, had to get towed out. Check the video of all the water
came gushing out of my exaust pipe.
The van has gotten a new exaust
manifold, shocks, I just lifted the front end. I replaced the sliding
glass windows. I recently found a brand new thule cargo case for
the roof only cost me $50
I have not seen any 4wd vans
with sunroofs. Our van has two aftermarket sunroofs. The front does
not retract but the rear does.
I also have an 84 van that is
seriously modified into a parade float party vehicle. It's a chop-top
with 3 foot wide platforms on each side. "Martha" can
carry up 45 people.. |
